He was the pioneer of Complex and various challenging Arthroscopic surgeries in the region and has the accolade of performing arthroscopic ACL/ PCL reconstruction, avulsion #fixation, meniscus surgeries as also complex multi-ligament knee surgeries like PLC (PFL,OPL,Popletius, LCL) reconstruction, PMC (POL,MCL, PM capsule)Reconstruction, MPFLR, ACL+ALLR etc. He was also amongst the first to start complex shoulder surgeries like Latarjet procedure, modified McLaughlin’s procedure, open transosseousand arthroscopic Rotator Cuff & Bankart (instability/ dislocation) repairs. He has been trained to perform the demanding Reverse Shoulder Arthrosplasty surgery as also other joint replacements like the Primary and revision Knee, Hip, Elbow; Partial knee replacments, High tibial Osteotomies etc.

Dr. Gupta is one of the most versatile orthopaedic surgeon of Rajasthan and is known for his academic excellence and surgical skills all over India. He is regularly invited as faculty to most major National Conferences and is actively involved in training and teaching young budding orthopaedic Surgeons. He has numerous scientific publications in Index journals of National and international repute and regularly presents papers in conferences/ workshops. He regularly attends talk shows/ interviews at regional and state level news channels/ radio/ FM and articles in leading newspapers on orthopaedic topics of public interest. He is associated with various social organisation for charitable services.
